For the pet owners, instead of taking your little pal to the vet, you can now test their health condition at your own home. Created by local professors, the new DNA device uses testing paper to examine the well-being of your pet, so they no longer have to pay unnecessary visits to the animal hospital.

We dread going to the doctors, and so do our little companions.

If your pet is not feeling its best, you can now depend on this DNA testing kit to give you an answer.

Sick or not, you are able to detect their physical state right away, without heading out the door.

Let's do an experiment. In these separate tanks, we have the healthy and the unhealthy fish.

First, we used a cotton swab to get the sample of their membrane, and then we put it in this tube, before pouring into the indicator for the final result.

Simple as that.

The yellow color means that this sick fish is indeed in need of care, while on the other hand, the orange color proves that the fish is in good shape.

With 90 percent accuracy, this instrument will help you cut down your expense tremendously in taking care of your best friend, and at the same time, this domestic medical breakthrough is putting the experts one step closer in developing a similar tool for humans in the future.
