In celebration of the 100th anniversary of ROC, a special exhibition of oil painting is currently held in Taichung, trying to create a mood of festivity for the country's upcoming birthday.

This dragon and lion dance is part of an opening ceremony for this special painting exhibition with more than a 100 oil paintings including this naked little boy on Orchid Island

This wide range of paintings has attracted many people who stop in front of the paintings and appreciate their spiirt with some reluctant to step away.

In addition, the museum also displays many,fine carvings of Buddha images, each of which is an antique.

This whole exhibit is to celebrate the ROC's centenary, with the Taichung City Government to assembled all of these famous painters in this joint exhibition.

This exhibition is a celebration of 100 years of the ROC as well as promote the local arts scene and give people a special feeling about the founding of the ROC.
