Taipei City government's top officials resigned yesterday morning, before the mayoral inauguration. The new team is set to take over the office on December 25th. Still, more media attention was focused on whether or not the social housing project will continue. Hau said, he would keep negotiating with local residents to win their support. On Tuesday morning, the Taipei City Government Cabinet officially resigned en masse. Taipei City Mayor Hau Lung-bin, who was re-elected last month, bowed to his team to express his gratitude and posed with the outgoing officials for a group portrait. On Sunday, Hau met with Songshan-Baoqing area residents and promised them that proposed public housing projects would not be constructed without the consent of residents. On Tuesday, Hau said that negotiations with area residents will continue, and a city government spokesperson further said that the mayor's four-year, 4,000-unit public housing policy has not changed. Hau declined to answer questions on Cabinet personnel changes, and said that new appointments will be announced on December 25th. ◆ 追蹤更多華視影音及圖文新聞: 1.用Plurk追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤 2.用Twitter追蹤華視影音及圖文新聞:追蹤
