The 2010 Taipei Marathon breaks record, after roping in more than 100,000 participants this past Sunday. The youngest runner is a 6 year-old little boy, who has a huge goal for joining the 42 kilometer race, and the most mature one is a 95 year-old man, who has an undefeatable spirit for crossing the finish line for the sixth time.

Ten of thousands of runners headed off after the gun sounded. The 2010 Taipei Marathon officially started. Many families came together because of the warm weather.

They even pushed their baby strollers.

This 6 year old child is the youngest participant and is challenging the 43 km course.

This old man is quite amazing. It's his 6th time entering the race. Even though he is 95 years old, he looks quite strong.

It took him over one hour to finish 9 km. But he doesn't look tired because he has been training.

In the pro competition, Wu Wenqian finished first in the Taiwanese division after recovering from injury. There were over 100,000 participants that signed up for the pro and amateur divisions.

Not only did they finish the entire course, they also proved they were able to overcome themselves.
