We may no longer have to travel far for hot spring. This calming activity can soon be done right in your own bathtub. The Department of Economic Development of Taipei City Government is collaborating with National Taipei University of Technology to develop an instant hot spring powder pack that's made with natural elements.

White sediments accumulate in the pipelines of the hot spring origin in a while.

Taipei City's Department of Economic Development works with National Taipei University of Technology in purifying the sediments to make affiliated products.

Such as the hot spring powder sachet or the soap.

After using which, there's a strong sulfur smell on your hands.

Hot spring powder sold on the market, which has fragrant aroma such as lavender, pomelos or many others is usually synthetic chemical compounds.

But the new product comes from the origin of hot spring.

Department of Economic Development is going to work with local manufacturers to mass produce the novel hot spring products, which may be available in the Hot Spring Festival in November this year.
